can you Type R people help my gsr
i am going to be purchasing an ITR complete swap and i was wondering what difficulty would i run into the swap comes with mounts ecu shift linkage axles wiring harness... this motor is going to go into a 95 obd-1 gsr integra! what do i have to look out for..... i belive the itr motor is a 96 or 98 so its obd-2 so let me know what i could do about that thanks!
I think if you do a search you will find the info you need.
I did exactly this conversion. To make the swap easy you will need the following because the plugs on the harness are different, you will need OBD1 injectors, alternator, distributor, itr throttle cable and mount,

what the hell is the point of buying an entire itr swap when u have an obd1 gsr?? unless u have a blown motor...just mod the gsr and u will b straight..spending that doe is pointless IMO

....my obd1 95 GSR is modded to hell. just mod it and you'll see better results then an itr swap would have cost you.

jdm itr pistons.
port and polished gsr head owns type r head all motor.
it has pentroof style chambers.
it also gives more compression than itr head.
hondata.
omg the list goes on...spend the money on your current block.
only thing in that swap you are talking about that's good is if it
comes with an itr tranny.

Use the GS-R wiring harness/distributor/injectors and a OBD2-to-1 adapter harness with a chipped P28 MT ECU. The JDM wiring harness probably routes to the opposite side, and converting your chasis/cabin harness to accept an OBD-2 ECU requires rewiring the OBD-2 ECU socket(s) to the OBD-1 harness.
Mounts, shift linkage, axles, and other physical stuff is the same.
