Hope this helps your decision. I got a Greddy SP cat-back a little more than a year ago. It was cool at first...not loud or raspy at all, but screams in vtec along with some spirited driving. decent performance over stock. not too crazy looking of a tip. but for the low cost it seemed pretty worth it at the time for one of my first mods along with DC ceramic coated 4-2-1 and 3" short ram intake w/KN... but all I can say now is I wish I bought something in full stainless steel and even better quality (not saying Greddy is bad, still very nice but)...
After over a year somehow under the ceramic coating the resonator began to rust at the weld seams, noting even showing signs till I heard that nasty sound of a leak in the exhaust one day. I checked it closey on the resonator and seen pin sized holes forming from the inside-out right on the welds. That really sucked. but it was a awesome exhaust at one time but if I were to do it again I would spend the money for even more quality...
My suggestion is get something is in full ss. cause I believe the under the ceramic coating on my SP was mild steel. Greddy has their new SP2 which is full ss and Tanabe has the Super Medallion Series which is ss. And if you want that more subtle and quiet low key exhaust with the sacrafice of a bit of restriction from the muffler style go with the Greddy SP2 or Tanabe Super Hyper Medallion. But if you don't mind making some noise for a little more top end power get the N1 style Tanabe Super Racing Medallion. I only choose these out of your choice of Tanabe and Greddy. but ever look into Fujitsubo RM01A for a nice SS quiet exhaust. again if you don't mind some noise some things like T1R B-pipe w T1R axle back or Spoon N1 both SS too. all these have around 2.5OD ss mandrel bent pipping with some nice *** welds and quality. well in any event good luck with your ride.

Well I am a Tanabe man myself so I say go with Tanabe. The quality is very good, and I love the sound of Tanabe exhausts. I have heard many Greddy SP's and I don't like them or the EVO they sound raspy to me. This is just what I think.
