What are your reasonings for getting World Sport? Just the sound? I hear it is pretty restrictive, so I doubt you will see much gain.

sportcompactcar's project eg after motor swap they tested the stock exhaust vs the apexi ws they gained 10hp at the wheels. but then again the stock exhaust was never made for a bigger motor like that.

I am looking for a quiet exhaust. The ws was praised by many as a good choice. I am running the stock ex motor. d16y8 and is there a better choice than ws for quiet exhaust?

Re: (nick2kcivic)
The WS is a good choice. It's either that or the GReddy SP although people say it tends to rust (no personal experience on that). I've heard the SP in person and it's extremely quiet. I've only heard the WS through an MPEG, and it sounds almost stock but with a bit more growl----very good tone, IMO. Both are good choices, but the SP is straight-through while the WS is a chambered design. If the WS didn't have a big tip, it'd be the perfect exhaust. The tip kind of ruins the purpose of an aftermarket quiet exhaust, IMO, which is to be subtle and not stand out.

I got my ws from rpmmotoring for $390 shipped from Cali to VA. They are also a sponsor for this site. The WS is very quiet and restrictive. It's got better flow than stock but still restrictive because it's still a chambered design and not straight through. In Fairfax, VA...I decided to sacrifice horsepower over being harassed by the po-po's.
