I just ordered a 6 puck unsprung Action clutch from ksmotorsports last week. Ill let you know in a few days.
I got the Action 2md clutch from KS-Motorsports; its a 6puck unsprung. Great clutch, not too stiff and grabs great. Its a little hard to get used to the instant engagement. Its slipping on me unfortunately and its supposed to hold approx. 350ftlbs of torque...I make about 260...
I believe I'm goin to a twin disk setup..

Action 1MD in my old Y8 was awesome. No chatter, held great, drivability was nearly stock. So when I got my B18B, I went with another Action 1MD, but this time around the clutch isn't so forgiving. If I engage it too quickly, I get chatter, if I engage it too slowly, I get this god awful squeal that sounds like the (brand new) throwout bearing is dying. There's a pretty small window for smooth engagement/decent launching, unless I'm behind another car, then I can hold it right at the point where it starts to grab while slowly increasing the revs until the car gets rolling and it'll engage smoothly. All this is not to say that it's not streetable, but it does take a bit of concentration to achieve smooth engagement.
well i wont to put it in tommrow so maybe i will tell you how it is
and this is a 4 puck it will grab harder wont it.

Yeah, a 4-puck should engage harsher than a 6-puck.

3 puck unsprung hub, Clutchmaster Stage 5, daily driven through traffic.
Pedal pressure depends on the pressure plate. You'll learn how to feather the clutch to reduce or eliminate chatter.

Same here, I've put 12k miles on my 2MD so far... It's been a great clutch, it is still holding out pretty well despite daily driving in stop and go.

I don't have any firsthand experience with ACT, but a local shop stopped selling and installing all clutches except Action Clutch because too many people were having issues with other brands - ACT, Clutchmasters, etc.. and they felt it reflected negatively on their shop. I would definitely give Action a shot, they make some bad *** clutches. I just bled my clutch fluid last month and now my 2MD feels almost like new, I love it.
