and what kinda stuff are you running?

from most of the threads it seems that hardly anyone is running toda cams to make their 200whp, although i might be wrong. looks like alot of hte 200whp motors are running JUN3s

 

a friend of mine was making 205whp with no head porting but a built motor on spec cs. I made 182 on a stock block with a stock jdm itr header. I think i can hit 200 with some head porting no problem

apexi v-afc

b&m fpr
custom 2.25" exhaust

made 199.7hp and 138.7tq at the wheels. tuned by yours truly.

oh, and for comparison sake.. i DID tune another motor with nearly the identical set-up.. but it was CTR pistons and a thin headgasket.. and jun stage 2 cams.
he made 205.0hp and 140.1tq at the wheels. peak hp was also way higher than the toda A's. the A's peaked at like 8000 or so, and the jun 2's peaked at like 8300 or 8400.

but the low to midrange from 3500 until like 5700, the toda A's dominated by like 5 or 6hp solid.

 

thnx for hte info. it just seems that the JUN cams are producing the peak HP that people want. toda cams are making that midrange everyone talks about.

so who makes the cam that has the toda midrange and the jun3 topend???

 

I did 198.2 on Spec C's, untuned...lsvtec w/ us itr pistons.
