b16 sir into 91 4spd hatch
If you want a regular b16 OBD0 just do the mpfi swap and run vtec wires that's about it.
Get the integra axles and intermadte shaft from 90-93 also the L bracket shift linkages can be welded together.
Need a 32MM axle socket. Also might need 8-22MM sockets and like 8-19 hand wrenches.
please search it will HELP!!!

Go to hasport.com for some good guides on this swap. Also if you need help converting it to manual, talk to me or ask me anything you want to know. I have done a few conversions so I can help you out.
thanx i have found alot on the swap into an si but not into the standard civic w/ a 4spd, i have heard different things like you need diff. hubs and knuckless and you have to notch something for it to be a five spd? thanx again

I have a 91 std orig a 4 spd. I have a b16 now. the hub issue is due to the spline count between the diff axles and the ones on teh std. You will need to use an 4th gen si hub assembly. depending where your at they run about 100 bucks for both used. at one time jdmhondaparts.com was selling them idk if they still are. Hasport is a great amount of information. just for advice from something i learned, if your car is on the orig springs you might consider upgrading them at the time of the swap, my car had 136k when i did the swap and less than 2k later the car started to get lower and lower so its a good time to upgrade suspension also. springs wear out over time just like anything else and with the minor extra weight and the extra abuse t here gonna see it might just be a good idea, to do springs and shocks at the same time.

You need different hubs/knuckels as mentioned and a shift linkage along a wiring harness to convert your DPFI to MPFI. Also, you need new axles, depending on what tranny you will get with your swap. The b16a comes in 3 different trannsmissions S1/J1/Y1. The J1/S1 are the same thing, and the Y1 has longer gears.
I would recommend calling http://www.hmotorsonline.com/ and get your engine from them. I got axles, linkage, hubs, knuckles, basically a front end of an XSi in Japan for $1500 from them. Great customer service and Steve who runs that business is a good guy.
I would research for a few months and get as much knowledge as you can.
Also, if you're in New Jersey, I would get in touch with a guy on this board "Ef *****", his friend does swaps and if you go through him he will make a wiring harness for you and you dont need to worry about going to hasport and paying $250 for a harness. He does excellent work, and you won't find a better price or better work.
