Default Velox VX-6R on my GSR. Need Advice for next setup.

From where my car is at, what would you do for the front end. Get a 97 ITR lip, or completely convert it to 98+ with ITR LIP.. Whats best for the long run? Thanks.

Also, What do you think about these wheels?

those look nice, i have velox vx8 b2s i love em

i'd prolly just get the 94 97 lip, unless you really want a 98 01 bumper that bad

94-97 itr lip/comptech itr lip would look best IMO....but do what you think YOU would like, and want to spend

i like the 96-97 front ends not many people keep them because the favor the newer front ends
think it would be cheaper if you dont have much to spend on the paint to get just the lip becasue its harder to match the paint of a bumper then the paint of a lip because its not as big
good luck

Curious, has anyone ever tried shaving off the front stock lip into the bumper?

I think it looks cleaner, what do you think?

I didnt realize the 97 itr front bumper is different from the ls/gs/rs/gsr's...but looking closer, the itr bumper does have the stock fron lip shaved into the bumper..or actually its part of the bumper! but yeah, 94-97 itr/comptech lips rules! Not played out like the 98+ front end w/ lip (not saying it looks bad at all, but yeah)
my car w/ comptech lip:

yeah ive seen it done ,,, it does look clean but you gotta make sure you put time into it because if you dont it cracks easy and its not an easy thing to do because your doing the whole bottom of the bumper and if you hit something it might mess everything up
just be carful doing and make sure its done right the first time

Yea, was thinkin shaving it, but also DEREVINDER is correct, It will take time to correctly shave it, in order it to not crack against the line. (since i will need to repaint the front bumper again, damn bugs*) Anyone else have a picture of this done? (instead of a photoshop version of mines?) also, any suggestions what to do to make it a good, long lasting shave?

Thanks for your opinions.
