I've seen Gsr flywheels lightened to about 10-12 lbs.

JUN makes a flywheel at 9lbs... that may be too light though. you loose low speed cliutch grab with a too light one. but throttle response is better.

My homie has a 11 lbd Flywheel.....

When hes climbing hills, hes in 2nd gear Redline just to get up it......Lightened flywheel meant for straight-a-ways, anything uphill is going to give you a pain to climb.....

i paid $425-440. I dont really remember the exact cost but it was something around there. Its pretty nice. It has a replaceable friction surface, I dont know if the other ultra light flywheels have this or not.

I have a clutchmasters, either 7.5 or 8.5, I forgot, but I like it, no real problems with revs dropping to fast and cutting the car off. I got it from nrg-racing for 280 shipped.

No, I cannot explain it because it is not true. hat has been describe does not happen to me at all and I seriously doubt that his freind has a lighter flywheel then I do. It may happen on his freind's car, but he shouldn't blame the flywheel for it.
