Does my Ls/VTEC need a knock sensor?
Whether you need a knock sensor depends on if the ECU you are using looks for a knock sensor. P28 ECU dont look for a knock sensor.
You can use any honda knock sensor.
You can use any honda knock sensor.
you might end up throw knock sensor codes whenever you really dig into it because the pr3 will be lean for your ls/vtec. had the same problem with my crvtec with the pr3 until i added a fpr and tuned it with a vafc
you can use a p28 chipped ecu and not worry about it. or u can use a dohc vtec ecu an have the knock sensor chip removed.

Why do you need a knock sensor on a LS block for? They don't even have a knock sensor.
You can just find a program that can disable knock sensor.
