best clutch value/performance?
im lookin for a stage 2 or 1 for my 96 prelude S, i've heard of people getting them for around $100, i was lookin at ACT and exedy... shot nitrous a few times and realized my clutch sucks. grabs really slow into 3rd. not sure if i want stage 1 or 2. any suggestions?
over the past couple years of having my 92 prelude with turbo i have used the centerforce dual friction clutch....it has been great. awesome for street and strip not too bad with daily driving and awesome for racing. good luck findin a racin clutch for 100 bucks new.....mine was 300 but def go with centerforce dual friction if you are goin to use it for daily driving.....otherwise, may i suggest a clutch masters stage 3
so how hard is it installing a clutch on a 96 prelude S? need any special tools or things to hold your tanny? whats the throw out bearing all about and where does it go? im kinda moneyless most the time so im a learn as i go do it yours selfer. besides id rather spend $400 on a tight clutch then spend $100 clutch +300 labor to get a ok clutch installed
