Integra suspension and brakes on a CX civic
He i was wondering if i could put the rear lower A-arms from my 94 Integra LS onto my 92 CX hatchback so i can use the anti-roll bar. I roughly checked a few dimensions and it looks like they will swap over. And i searched and i saw its been done before, but do i have to change over the whole suspension or can i just swap the lower A-arms?
Also i would like to swap the rear disk brakes onto my CX which has drums in the rear. Will this swap over as well? I couldent find any threds on this one
Thanks

The rear disc swap is easy cheesy, it swaps right over. Just swap over the whole trailing arm assembly with the Teg e-brake cables. As for the front A-arms, I am pretty sure it all switches out, but if you have a whole parts car you might just want to switch the whole subframe and all. You could even switch the rack if you want for a better steering ratio. Read up on the A-arms a little more though since I'm not exactly postitive. Somebody on here will know though.
Well ill need to put the CX parts on the Integra, its my daily driver and i dont car about handeling so im guessing the CX suspension and brakes will work fine on the integra since the integra parts work on the civic?
As far as the steering rack, I friggen hate the CX steering and would love to switch to a quicker ratio, but i think getting a power steering rack to fit with my H22a and having to fabricate things to work would be a pain. Thats not going to get done this weekend at least

Its not bad, I've got an H22 in my hatch too. I actually think there is more room to work than my damn bone stock DX.
What did you do about a power steering pump?
The car has AC
its mounted on some custom bracket and ran off one belt that is running my Water pump and alternator, im not sure if i could put another item on the one belt.
Maybe an electric powersteering pump?

You don't have rear lower a-arms. But the lcas to swap right over so you can easily get swaybar holes.

rear Lower control arms, whatever ya call em, i forgot what they were called
Anyway, someone told me i need a proportioning valve because the hydrolic(sp) pressure for the rear drum brakes is far greater than it is for the rear disks, and that my brakes will be very rear biased and that i could even risk blowing a piston out of the calipers.
Is this BS or is a bias adjuster/proportioning valve a necessary item?
Thanks

From what I've been reading about rear disc swaps over the past year (still have yet to do it myself, regardless of having nearly all the parts), it's suggested but not totally necessary. You wouldn't have to do it immediately but it's something you'll want to get done. They're only like $40 new, I got mine for $15 at the junkyard so it's not a big deal.

It's in teh engine bay. They're in different spots. On our hatches they're right on the center of the firewall with all the brake lines going to it. I got mine off a 90-93 teg and I think it was bolted near the passenger shock tower. Not really sure though it was a while ago.
