Nice thanks guys, the guy i got all the stuff for the swap with also gave me a proportion valve, but it looks like it is the same on that is on the car now- looks exactly like the one in your write up too. Will i need to change that, or can i use the one from the CX brake system?

Re: (j-D-m)
your prop. valve should be a 30/30 which means 30% of the braking power is applied to the rear... you could opt for a 40/40 valve which means 40% of the braking power is applied to the rear... the best fit on an eg is a valve from a 90-93 teg... fits just like stock ... its not absolutely necessary but it does help... doesnt make you stop any faster it just balances the braking effect out... after i installed mine i could feel the back pulling down and the front end didnt dive as much

so do the stock CX brake lines from the drums bolt right up to the new calipers for the rear discs? or do i have to change or modify any of that>
