Default Replaced Speed sensor, transmission not working.

Guys, The D4 light was flashing. Transmission stopped working and wouldnt shift after 10 minutes of use. I replaced the Speed Sensor as reccomended here (speedometer wasnt working either) and the speedometer reads now and it stopped flashing the D4. But the transmission doesnt want to shift. Is there anything I have to do after replacing the speed sensor? Is this speed sensor related or is it a bad tranny? Car was working and then a few days ago it started acting up. The tranny fluid is ok.

Please any help appreciated!

Have you checked your fluid?

depending on what year it is i would say to take it in and put it on the scanner ... most likely it is the silonoids on the tranny (easy to change ) if that doesent work then you need a rebiuld ...

I am not sure if this will help you or not. Normally the 'S' light will flash if you are having this problem ... but that is not to say that it won't.

Click on the link I have provided and maybe this will fix your problem:

Good Luck
