Default Jackson 10PSI Kit on LS/VTEC poor times? Input please

My buddies 94' Hatch with full interior, 18" inch wheels in the rear, 14" steelies in the front with AZenis ran a best of 13.8 last night. I just thought that car should be faster. The complete mods list is Hondata (tuned), DC 4-1, Basic tube style intake, ADJ. fuel reg., Stock LS Bottom end, B16 Head stock with stock B16 tranny with no LSD. He hit a good light .528, and a 60 ft of 1.9. What do you guys think? The Jackson Racing 10 PSI kit also.
Thanks

Well, my guess is: he IS running 18" wheels on a track....

That and, it depends alot on the driver.

Heres some possibilities why...

- Stupidcharged j/k
- What Model hatch? Si?
- Doesnt have slicks although 1.9 is reasonable.
- Need to stiffen the rear suspension, does he have any?
- How much whp/wtq?

Has the car actually been tuned/dyno'd? Maybe it's not making the power that it should.

said it was tuned... what was his trap speed. Maybe he likes to take naps between shifts.

The car is a DX, The suspension setup is AGX stiff setting in the rear, with Skunk 2 Coilovers. The car was dyno tuned and put down 226 HP, 168 TQ

definetly something wrong. should be a low 13's car or even high 12's.

Maybe your friend is shifting fast and not taking each gear to the top.

Putting a LS tranny may also be a solution.

I'm just taking a guess here, but isn't the jackson racing supercharger a roots type blower? Don't they focus more on low end than top end power? So maybe since on the drag strip ur up in the revs the entire time he's slower than you think he should be with that much power. Just a guess here

Need to know the mph to know if he's getting the power to the ground. With a 1.9 60ft and a 13.8 it sounds like a 98mph trap speed or so.
