converting a VX ecu to a EX ecu
ok there was a diagram a few weeks back post on a topic that was kinda off topic and i have been searching for ever and couldn't find it don't really remeber what the topic was either.
here is my question some one posted a diagram of the or A wire you had to change to basicly turn a VX------>EX my body did a mini me and has been running a obdI of mine that i will be needing shortly so i was trying to help him out with this cause i have a vx ecu THanks

Ok, I'm going to find it highly doubtful that this can be done. They are different fuel mappings, just because they both carry a form of vtec doesnt mean they are that close. That along with the fact that the vx ecu has the EGR system and a 5wire o2 setup, would make me doubt you can alter it to BECOME a p28.

For the price of doing that he can just get an ECU.

Check with "eg6ajk" about chipping..the guy from "hyperducktuning" I think.....anyways, after my swap I had the idea of cipping my VX ECU to P08 specs but he said unless it is a 4 wire ECU, it can NOT be chipped. I wish it could, cause I need one...
