ok i need a site that has a detailed explanation of a mini me swap y8 head with an a6 block. i am buying the y8, head gasket, intake and exhaust gasket, timing belt, oil change and radiator fluid change tommorow. While i put in a new clutch i am goign to do the head swap like next week. Also, since im 16 and make 6.25 an hour, does anyone have a wiring diagram of hooking up vtec with a toggle switch, so when im at the rpm i choose i can activate it myself? pics would really help for everyhting. thanks! also, who has done this swap and could u tell a pretty biug difference? my car is a 88 crx si. thanks again

 

why not just put in a cheap shift light and wire it up through that, ive never done it but i hear it's not hard and it's cheap, i don't think you want to be going down the road hitting a toggle switch for vtec, you want to set it up so it comes on everytime at a certain rpm like 5400 i think is the engagement on a stock y8

do a search on this it will help type in wiring, or vtec wiring, anything of that nature
