LONG POST!

**I sold this guy a brand new PnP head by DH-Racing. Didnt come with anything but the head and valve train. I was out of the country for 1 month but he had about 2 weeks time to contact me before I left. This guy is accusing me of selling him junk. I gave him free cams with cam gears, a new headgasket, valve cover, and caps which he claims are scratched up. I did more than I could possibly do for this guy. Over a month later he claims its used and not PnP and shows me pictures of a dirty head and carbon in the ports. He even tells me the valves are scratched up. WTF!!! This guy could've possibly used it and did something to it and expects me to give him his money back. What am I supposed to do? He could be sending me another head or possibly damaged the head he got from me for all I know. I'm asking all my fellow honda-tech members what I should do about this guy. Hes trying to ruin my reputation on honda-tech and I havent had a problem with anything I sold untill this guy.**

Today I recieved the head. The buyer told me he took his old head off to compare the two heads which made me think he swapped the heads. I told the guy I would return him his money if he sent back everything I sold him. Took a look at it and I was disappointed with what I saw. Basically this is not the head I sold him. I wished I still had my old pics of the head I sold to him but I took all pictures possible to prove it was a PnP head before I sold it. I usually delete them after a month of sale and it has been over a month. Its been almost 2 months. This is not the first time I sold a PnP head. Anyway, he shipped the head poorly. There were loose styrofoam all over the head and bits and pieces of it stuck in many different locations which is hard for me to pick out. Thats not even the problem considering the fact that this isnt the same head. I saw alot of scratch marks on the inner part of the head. I also saw a few bent areas as well. There was still some fresh oil in one of the exhaust ports. All exhaust ports show carbon. He only returned one set of caps and gave me headbolts which I never included? Those had oil all over them as well. The headgasket was all scratched up? One set of valves were totally different and also a different size. I took pictures of the head because that was the main part of the deal(shown below). I can clearly tell this is not the same head and a few other friends also remember that this is not the same head. Hes trying to ruin my reputation and I know alot of you bought things from me and were always happy with what they got. This is the first time I ever had this happen to me and I dont know what to do. I do know I'm going to send this bs back to him. I also know he will most likely say i scammed him and leave me a negative post on my vouch thread as he has done already. I need your guys help!! I've been a member for almost 2 years now. Please point me in the right direction on what to do. TIA for those who gave me some support!

take alook at his thread, there are some evidence that this guy is pulling a fast one on u.

in his thread, he stats that there only one port ported. he shows a picture of the intake side. if u look it is clean, and there is a purple marking.



this one picture is worth all the explanation.

in comparing the picture that you have, there is alot of oil, the intake side is not clean, there is no purple marking. With this picture it clearly shows that was the head you had ported and sold to him.
the funny thing is, the next picture really shows how stupid he is, he convicted himself with those pictures. he pretty much shows everyone that he is trying to screw you. the pictures that you have match the second, execpt there is no intake port that looks like the first picture.

i believe this is the same port that he has shown.. notice the difference?\

not only that, how would all the other ports have greese except the one intake port that he posted up. From what i can see, everything is greesy, oil, has dirt and rust in it.

this guy went out of his way to try to lie to you, but in the end, he gave him self up. should be on america's stupidiest criminals.

i think u should just let him rot, if you have not sent his money back. dont.
MODS, if you are reading this, i hope you ban him.

i think ppl will still want to do business with u Panda EK.

If u want my opinion the guy is just a plain ol Dooshbag. he thinks he is smart i dont know you personally Panda but i have heard nothing but good things about you. a few people that i bought off of have recommended you. So F$#k that scammer. Ill support you ive heard to many good things about you. andi havent heard **** about dumbass that is basically telling everyone he is tryin to screw u over.

 

Thanks bro..... I've also been following up on the other thread he posted about me. I feel alot better knowing everyone know I'm a good seller. I'm still not sure if I should send the head back. What should I do about it? Tell him to send me money to reship or thorw it away?

i'd buy from panda.. i don't even know him, but after looking at this thread and Haggars thread I think I beleive that Panda is a good guy.

I think key point here is that this whole thing transpired 2 months ago. If there was something wrong w/ head, wouldn't buyer have noticed it right away? Even to untrained eye, head covered w/ grease & carbon deposits wouldn't be considered new. He could've just compared it w/ photos you posted.

Just consider this. Most retail stores won't let you return merchandise after 30 days; some of them only allow you 2 weeks. Why should private parties be any different?

I don't know either of parties, but something doesn't sound right here. Someone's trying to pull fast one.

tryin to pull a fast one. i was interested in buying his head but things came up and i couldnt buy it at the time. pictures that are shown doesnt even compare for the pics panda had when he was first selling it. pics taken seems to show a entire differently head.

if it was so different how come the buyer did not notice when eh first receive it. common sense is to inspect the merchandise bought. i guess it took a month to take off his head and swap it with panda's and is now tryin to get a refund

but if you read the post u, you would realize that he was using a reference shot to show what DH headwork looks like, and then comparing it to the other head not saying that it was the head. I dont know how anyone else wouldnt notice that, and just go along with what he said.

Atleast read both stories before making a judgement and passing it on to others

I dont know... i've bought from panda ek before, he was fast and all, but just think about if you were in the buyers shoes.. why would he do all this?.. and stop talking about this junk about it was a month or two months ago bullshit, because he was gone for a month anyway which prolongs the situation...

1st, I return all 12 cam caps. 6 exhuast, wrapped in 1 bag in bubble wrap, and 6 intake in another bag, wrapped in bubble wrap. Did you throw them away accidently?

Other than that, the head is 100% in the conditionthat I got it in. Yes, I packed it in foam peanuts, and it got into the head. So what. In case anyone couple tell, see those brown dots all over it, those are abrasive blasting beads. The head is covered in it. For anyone, me included, to use it, it had to be disasembled and cleaned. Thats how you shipped it, scammer.

Thats how he shipped it to me,and is trying to pass it off, as a DH-racing head.

That pictures of a PORTED head, is from a PORTED DH-RACING D-series engine, it was posted on the EF/CRX forum.

Maybe if you could READ, you'd have noticed that what I said. Its clearly written in the post. Someone else on the board realized that.

Why are you posting pics of carbon and paint? I posted those close up shots of the ports a while back. Thats why I'm telling you its not a PnP head. Now you post the same pics to try to show people that I ran it?

The oil in the ports was like that when you shipped it to me.

The headgasket was packages betweeen the flat of the valve cover, and the side of the box, with foam peanuts there. I can't see how its damaged.

Look at the last link, there is a picture of how this fool sent the hardware. DUH, looks like in that pile of **** are HEAD BOLTS but you are saying that you never sent me any? SO because I return you headbolts you never sent I'm a scammer?

I've said it on the other posts. I AM new here. I'm learing hondas. I am trying to build a B18A1 for my CRX. You posted a couple very small pics that showed a clean loking head, and the ports looked shiny. Thats all I could see in your ad. You conveniently deleted the pictures.

SO, based on your good reputation, I orderd the headfrom you. I got it, it looked wrong, I IMd you . You said I was wrong, and you never painted the ports. I assumed I made a mistake. I went back, and researched and showed it to others, to make sure I wasn't making a mistake. IT took me a couple weeks to be 100% sure I was right. By that time, when I IM'd you and emailed you, you had left the country for a month. You never responded to the ims and emails when you returned.

I have a spare set of LS gears, since I bought adjustable ones, I'd give them to you , if I thought it would help.

You are a crook. Why the hell would I have done what you think I did? Why would I keep a head without matching cam caps, its cheaper to buy a new PnP head than have it Align bored.

Why would I post pics of it, and you said you'd take it back, and then after I ship it, you say no.

Actually, you said nothing. You got it, and never said a word. Only 4 days after you received it(based on my tracking the UPS number) I IM you, and you finally IM me back to say you won't refund my money and you won't send the stuff back unless I send you money for shipping.

I've tried to be fair. I offered for you to take it back, and subtract the cost for you to ship it, that way it cost you nothing. I offer to take paypal, in case you don't have the funds. I offered to buy just the headgasket off you, for $75, and you read it wrong and think I'm trying to steal it from you.

You owe me my $375 back. If you want to pay me $335, to cover your shipping, thats acceptable. I just want SOMETHING monetary back.

Thats funny, they must have gotten lost during shipment. I only seee one set of caps and I checked the rest of the box. When you read the other posts you see someone is not taking your side and you continue to move to the next post?

Technically I shouldnt have sent any hardware and just gave you the bare head. And now your accusing me of being a even more big scammer because I didnt PM you once I recieved the head? Why dont you read the other threads...
