Default system in prelude

im asking for a friend, we are putting a system in his prelude and cant find the hole in the firewall to run the wires through.. anyone know where it is? what we have to take off to get to it? thanks.

what year is it...if its 92-96 ....u can run a small 8g wire on the drivers side theres a rubber seal thats where most alarms wires are ran threw........but...if your goin 4g you problee need to drill ...just be carful where you drill....i havn't done it before but yea thats what ive been told

01's arent too bad, there's a hole on the driver's side as well, you'll see a big rubber gromet and you'll be able to get 4-8 guage through there

I believe the only way to get through a fifth gen is the grommet area around the fusebox.........

my 97 had one where i ran my tach wire/ soon to run a 8ga. under the steering wheel near the center. there was some black tar like stuff over the hole so i dunno if it was put in after or it came like that. the alarm had another hold next to it so maybe the alarm place did it hell i dunno.

i have installed 5 of my friends systems and mine in 2 diff. cars. i have found if you keep looking, you will find one. took me over 30 min. one time. on my old car (camry) i had to make a hole bigger w/ a screwdriver for the 4ga. wire to fit through.

no fifth gen really has nowhere just about, im sure the firewall is setup like that on purpose.

welpz i found a place to pull it through...which was the wiring harness on the "passenger side" but i had to cut the rubber. i appreciated all the comments and advice...it sure helped alot. THankz!!!

for future reference, every honda i have ever worked on has a spot on the passenger side of the firewall. makes sense, the battery and ecu are on the right...
