Default ? about H22 swap in an eg....

just finished a H22 swap in eg everything runs good no problems, the only thing is that when you got on the gas the car seem to CHEMMY abit. is that normal?????

I wonder if he is talking about that sputter in idle that some cars suffer with. I think that is whay he is talking about.

If by "chimmy" you mean shimmy, then that's probably a result of the polyurethane engine mount bushings that are used in the transplant kit. You didn't provide us with much detail on this shimmy, though, so we can only stab in the dark and hope your lightbulb goes on.

My mounts make my car feel like an earthquake hits when I start the car and when accelerating from a low rpm.

HAHA. I know exactly what you mean. h22 + eg = lots of rattling and vibration

ok sorry about the word I miss spelled it "shimmy" I guess vibration maybe the mounts the power everything together I guess????

Im back after inspecting the car come to find out the rear mout cracked at the welds.

What mount do you guys recomend to use for this swap. the ones the owner got look cheep lil rinkadink mounts.

what mounts and what price comes with them?????

Hasport or HIV(I am 90% sure that this is wrong) mounts. HAS mounts are expensive as hell though.

Yea, I meant hcp. Being that far off tells me that I need to sleep. I was actually going to put hcc but Hiv came out instead
