Motor overheated and i think i blew the headgasket
my b17 was overheating yesterday just driving around the fan doesnt work but it had never overheated before, it kept getting pretty high temps yesterday and then when i got home it jump into red and i turned the car off really quick. i hadnt started it up since till now and when i did it was smoking white from the motor area and muffler. blown head gasket?
pretty simple to tell, just look at your coolant, do you see oil in it? If you do, then the headgasket is blown. Also, a blown headgasket will make a lot of white smoke come out of your tail pipe.
If neither of these are present, you can do a compression check.

Check the spark plugs if they are white your head gasket is blown. Also you can pressure test the cooling system if you really want to know fast if your head gasket is blown, you can usaully have a mechanic do this for nothing or really cheap.
