Default 5w30 or 10w30?

It was posted before that people prefer 5w30 over 10w30. Any reasons why?

Depends on your set up, i run mobil 1 15/50 in my turbo motor i dont know if there is a reason or not to run 5w 30 over 10w 30, but it does matter to run a certain one in the weather you live in

5w30 - 5 is for colder weather, once oil warms up they both have same hot temps ratings

why i run 10w40 right now, so it can take higher temps better..
