Default Tuning timing on dyno... Jump service connector?

What's up... I'm going to the dyno and would like to play with my timing since I added a water injection setup on my 10 lb B16A JRSC. Do I need to jump the service connector... or can I just move the distributor, until I have the most power without detnation... Thanks!... I'm currently at 10 BTDC... I'm hoping I can get close to stock (15-16 BTDC)....

Since its really a guess anyway, you dont have to jump the service connector to adjust the timing. Just either increase or decrease the base timing at the distributor.
