I have a 1000 watt amp just runing off my stock battery what else should i buy to help this amp be able to push its maxium power out ? I am pushing 2 kicker comp vr 12's. Aiwa cd player.

Wrong answer. Is your amp supposed to put out 1000w max or continuous? Do you know its max current draw? What makes you think that you're not getting enough power?

 

It's possible. However, I'm willing to bet that whatever problems he has (if any), can easily be fixed.

 

find out if the amp is 1000w RMS or 1000 w peak if its peak you shouldnt need anything if its RMS get a cap. 1 farad at least maybe 1.5 farad.

If your lights dim a cap may make it worse. It'd be significantly cheaper to replace your ground wires, which could also solve your problem.

 

Wheres a good place to ground out on a 95 civic dx sedan ???.. its 1000w peak cheap pyrmid amp i bought for 69.00 new in box sealed.
