Default Intercooler question

I have never really notice it until today. Is the intercooler suppose to be hot at the end where it connects to the turbo? I realized this after cruising that on the left side of the intercooler was cold but on the other end it was quite hot. Is this normal?

yes

its what the intercooler does.

turbo creates heat(air becomes hot when passing through compressor), intercooler gets rid of heat.
