considering replacing bottom end with b20 in a 98 ls
I was considering picking up a b20 block (costs about 750 on hmotorsonline.com) and dropping that sucker into my LS integra, with the LS head for now. would i be able to simply replace the b18 block with the b20 and be done with it, or does this require alot more that just swapping out the block?
You're getting a B20 block? or longblock? Wow.. $750 for a block? Damn.. I pay that much for a complete longblock.
Anyways... yes.. the LS head will bolt up to the B20B/Z block.. (Don't try B20A.. cause it's not the same. ) B20B and LS are the same blocks except for the bigger bore.

750 is for the complete longblock.
i was pretty sure that they were identical with different bore's. I just feel like this would be alot cheaper and easier than boring my existing block out, plus there would be less down time for my car, and no worry about job quality. Thanks.
So i wont have any trouble dropping it back into the engine bay with the b20 longblock??
