Bad Caster :( Can someone comment please.
Hey all, I finally got my alignment done today at wheel works. I haven't bought camber kits yet, becuase I'm holding out for the skunk2's that seem to be sold out or on backorder everywhere. My car has been pulling to the right for a while, so I figure maybe my toe might be out quite a bit. Anyway, I got the alignment done, and the machanic said I have bad caster on the right front wheel, and it's off like 1.2 degrees. Since our cars have no way to adjust caster, should I just raise the car up a bit to help out the alignment? My car definately drives smoother since the alignment, but still wants to pull to the right. Also I was wondering why the right side of the cars suspension is so different from the left. If you take a look below, you can see the right side camber off like -.4 degrees compared to the left. I don't remember hitting any major pot holes, so I don't think thats what happend. The machanic said its just a common problem with lowering your car
that blows. Thanx in advance for any help you guys might be able to give.

Sorry I miss read your numbers, there is some thing defiantly wrong on your right side. Check your upper “A” arm mounting and pivot bolts. I have seen the same problem when they were not tightened correctly.

Its .4 degrees differance for the camber, but caster is actually off by .9 to 1 degree. I have the H&R sport springs, with KYB's set at #2 in the front and #1 in the rear. The suppose'ed 1.75 drop in the front from the H&R's, look more like 2.2 these days. Maybe I should just raise it up a bit. I can get a set of prokits for $100. Should I mess with a spring only drop again or just get some ground controls? My ride is really comfy right now, and handles really well. I would hate to lose either by changing out my springs. thanx again
sometimes its ur tires itself that causes the pull. usually they have to be re-balanced. tire places call it "a radial pull". also check ur tire pressure.
and sometimes it could be a tie rod

The caster is only determined by the vertical position of the knuckle. If the knuckle is bent or one of the control arms is bent the caster will be off. You may also want to check the rear lower control arm bushing for deterioration, as it may be allowing the lower control arm to shift forward or back, which would change the caster too.
