Front Upper Control Arm removal
Okay fellaz anybody here know how to remove the front upper control arms on 89 hatch instructions and some pics on how to do would be helpful thanx.

LOSEN! (not remove yet) nut from upper ball joint in upper control arm.
Hammer that mother till the knuckle pops off of the UCA.
Remove 2 bolts under hood on either side of shock tower (~3 inches from shock bolt).
Arm will drop down and you can remove the two bolts which go through UCA bushings and remove back peice of metal.
Now you can remove the UCA from the assembly without removing shock setup.
WALLAH! Just did this yesterday myself
