Default trouble after kill switch, what to do

ok well i put in a fuel kill switch sometime last week and have been driving the car fine all week. last night i went to start it up and it sounded really weak, like there was little power from the battery, but it started up. today i went to start it up for school and i could not get the car to start. does anyone know what could have happened? i dont know what could be draining the battery no lights were left on.

check for a draw in the system. you need a test light.. disconnect the gound and touch one end of test light to ground and the other end to ground wire. see if you get a draw (the test light is on).. if there is disconnect your fuel cuttoff and see if the light goes out.. if it does then you had a draw on that circuit. something not wired right, if not go through the fuse box one byone and pull your fuses until the light goes out. tnen find which circuit it is and find the short or draw..
or might be even easier just an old battery

yea i think it might just be very strange coincidence that i had put in the kill switch and now the battery has finally died. the stereo will play but the headlights are very dim. i think it might just be a bad battery, but ill use your info before i go out and buy a new one, thanks

i did need a new battery but it doesnt seem to be the problem. the car started up fine this past week but then when i tried to leave the beach yesterday it wouldnt start. i tried a few times then just let it sit for like 3 minutes, then it started up and was fine on the way home. at night i tried to start up the car and it wouldnt work nor would it work this morning. i started checking fuses, i was told that the fuel pump is a 15A switch so i took out one of the two, put it back in, and now the car started. this is my only car so i need to figure out how to keep this from happening. does anyone know what the fuse for the fuel pump is labeled? is it the one that says acg on the fuse panel key? allso did anyone have trouble with fuses blowing after they did this kill switch thing and if so did you put in a higher amp fuse like 25? i didnt solder the connections, i used splices but they are all tight so that shouldnt be the problem
