HP estimates? h22 with a bunch of stuff
H22a w/ type s heads and internals
three angle valve job
okay all the possible machine work
2.5 exhaust
type s cams
intake obviously
shaved heads
compression to like 12:1
lightened fly wheel
probably a stage 2 clutch
and all the stupid bolt ons
anyone have a clue what this will put to the wheels on a 96 ek
and what it might run in the quarter
i really want to stay all motor
but i rode in a 13 sec car and it really didn't excite me i want something fast where i will **** myself if i can't do it all motor looks like i'll have to switch over to turbo to have some fun

heads?...i don't know what kind of h22 you're running but they only come with one head...

To make something that fast is not fun.....Its a job/hobby/life+ a LOT of money.
Uhh 12:1 is not that high. I am sure there is more people on here that can verify it better than me, but if you are trying to make something that will make you **** your pants, then your not building aggressive enough.

Your gonna need stage III no matter what kind. Type S is kinda weak

And Where the **** do people dream this **** up? Oh...so you want a stock valve job? WTF?........H22 valve seats are cut 3 ANGLES from the FACTORY.

thanks for clarifying the three angle job i never really knew what it was obvikously it bull so but i don't know and i really don't want stage three cams thats i'm not a fan of the rough idling and all the other things that come with the three's
and what compression do you think i could run with out having to run a extremely high octane gas

like i saied, dont just dream up a setup in 2 days, take your time, read and learn on what will make the most power & what is your goal.
Hm... you're not going to be able to run very fast in a street car without some sacrificing of driveability.
Maybe you should try dropping on a turbo kit. That should be pretty quick.

I agree with goin turbo,The H22 responds very well wiith a turbo..In my 92 hatch i ran 13.0 all motor with minimal mods..And with a turbo 11.8 at 12 psi...If u deicde on all motor ditch those type -s cams for sure.. Go with Individual throttle bodies..IMO...Def the most potential,,besides turbo!
You should talk to MAX about building a H22 he is very knowlegeable with these motors and he knows how to make power off of them. You will be very surprised with whats in his daily driven motor and the times that he runs with it.
i have a buddy running h22 with jun III's upgraded valve train, ported and polished, unorthodox crank pulley, str 68mm tb, venom im, i/h/e, the euro accord r tranny with b16 gear ratios and lsd, and he made 280 hp. pulled a new sti off the line and advanced every gear.
280hp? yeah right. Very possible but does your buddy run around town on race gas. Because to extract that much power out of H22 you need some pretty high compression. That car can't be streetable. So I doubt he is making that much power, but hey maybe I'm wrong.
make sure you get a good header like a ANR / SMSP are DTR that will make a huge difference. I am going to be bulding my H22 here pretty soon and i plan on doing skunk mani, new TB, hondata, hondata mani gasket, exhaust, cat, clutch flywheel and a DTR header!! and other llittel **** but that set up should get me close to 200 easily ! prolly just over ( i hope )

Do you have a dyno graph? cause the most I ever seen on h22 street motor is 230 and that is pretty rare. Also and more info on the tranny, I dout the gear will fit since the b16 tranny is much smaller.

280hp is a little far fetched for an all motor setup! maybe at the crank but at the wheels you rarely see that on a fully built B series !! if you have the graph then post it up i would love to see it and i'n sre others would too!

ya man, i think you're dreaming about 280hp w/ just those mods.
