With people burning eproms, why couldn't they adjust the timing on one as to work well with how the hack works???

 

Why would you bother using the afc if your burning chips?

Some guys do that with OBD0 since the only boost editor is still in pretty early development.

 

I use the afc to control fuel and the chip to control timing when into boost.....works well....

 

When are we gonna see chips for boost that can be tuned with a VAFC?

 

Can you elaborate a little more about the chip you are using?

i would like to know too

 

my friend took the normal n/a honda program re-wrote the timing maps so that as it went into boost it pulled timing....then i use the vafc to adjust the fuel for the 450's...made the boost transition smooth with the benefits of no timing advance as a normally aspirated would.....he has mine pull out about 1 degree per lb of boost, its mostly just munipulating the stock timing maps...took some trial and error but I now have a good setup with it.....until the full boost program is improved without the hesitations i like the use of the afc hack.....
