Will this rev-hard manifold work with a precision sc34 w/ no block shaving?
Someone is selling a rev-hard mainfold and I was double checking with the experts if this will work with the precision sc34 without shaving the block?
This will be my first piece to the project and I wanna make sure I get good parts.

Depeding on the a/r. If its like .57 or something like that, yes. You'll def. need to shave the block. Not that much, but still will need to.
Have you had experience with this manifold before or just know that people have shaved the block using it? I really wanna stay away from the hassle of shaving the block, one reason I wanna get a inline pro but I can get a good deal on this one if it would work the way I want it too
I have the inlinepro/sc34 combo on ls motor, it fit without shaving block, It's same basic design as revhard. I know the b16 sometimes has trouble because of the difference in size of deck height. It's very minimal, but enought to have to either run an extra gasket between turbo/manifold, or just shave the block. Inlinepro/revhard manifolds are both a/c compatible btw
since its been asked so many times whats the big deal shaving the block??? It doesnt hurt a dam thing so why do so many people wonder about it????
I'm not sure if the inlinepro and revhard is exactly the same. I have a revhard and a t3/t4E and I had to shave my block. Not too much but one little fin sticking out, and a little of the webing. And I had the turbo clocked so that the skinniest part was towards the block. And yes shaving the block does not hurt anything and takes two minutes with a dremel and a few sanding drums.
By the way this setup was on a 00' B18B.

I know shaving the block doesnt hurt the block per say but just in case I had to sell the block when I do a rebuild to upgrade or if I decide to take the kit off, I would just rather have a manifold where I dont have to hassle with it, even if it's a few minutes.
Also could you define "clocking" the turbo, is that just the way align the turbo?
Anyone have pics of this manifold on their car, also what turbo's where you running?

Why the hell would you WANT to shave the block if it was avoidable???

I know for sure the sc61E will not fit unless you shave the block and I don't care how you clock the turbo. I know it because I test fitted a week ago. You might have run a very small turbo. May be the sc34 will not fit also. Shaving the b16 is no big deal because they so many short block out there.

Well as long as I dont have to shave too much I'm ok with that, but I havent found anyone that is running a rev hard cast w/ the sc32.
I know with the drag manifold you usually have to make some adjustments but if the rev hard is almost indentical to the inlinepro then I tought no shaving required.

Its worth it to shave the block to run the revhard manifold/t04e turbo combo. Inline Pro and Revhard mani's are VERY similar but not identical. The inline provides for just a lil more clearance then the revhard. Some people have to shave w/ the inline and some don't. It all depends how you clock the compressor housing.
i wouldnt base my manifold purchase on whether or not i have to shave the block... it takes like 5 minutes to shave the block, whereas a good manifold will make a difference every time you drive.
