hi guys,, i'm having a hard time locating the amp for the bose system on my S type... i check under the passenger seat but i coulnd't find it... maybe my S doesn't come with a amp....i want to install a RF amp on my car with a 12 inch bass tube but can't find the original one ..

 

isnt it powerd by the headunit?

 

theres the amp under the passenger seat..trust me...of course your car came w/ the Bose amp...it is a Type S aint it?

 

Ya im having problems with my subs this bose system like wont let the subs hit at all. It really sucks i dont think its possible to get a good amount of bass with that sysytem installed.

Its a stock stereo system in a car marketed at young professionals. What did you expect? Bling-b00m ricer n0ise?

 

yes its a type S but no subwoofer on it..

 

what a drag, it is missing.......the foam below the carpet removed makes for a better system!!!

i remember when i first got my typeS... it didnt even have the sub in there i had to get it installed. but anywho ive heard other cars with stock systems with no subs that hit harddddddddd. 10x harder than what we typeS owners have. when i got the car i expected so much more from the system, but yea it is really dissapointing. at least the door speakers are halfway decent.

 

i thought the bose subs were located in the spare tire well?

 

it is but the main post is inquiring about the amplifier

 

the amp for the sub is inside the whole spare tire sub. its right next the the 4-6 inch 'sub' the amp says its 100 watts but its about the size of a camera. if thats what you're talking about.

 

i guess mines didn't came with the sub or i guess whoever own the car before took it off.. ... i guess i will change the radio and install a tv/dvd on it.. i guess i now gotta get the kit

 

the sub in the spare tire sucks. I heard the whole system will sound alot better with a new headunit
