iam getting a new system can someone tell me what i should get something the sounds good thaxs

mb quart speakers all the way round
JL Audio W7 w 1000 Watt JL amp
JL makes really good subs if you can afford them. I personally like Rockford amps. As for speakers, it depends on if you want to run an amp to those or not. Anything aftermarket will be better than stock. Be more specific as of price range, and things you want in your system.

-mb quart rce-216 componets in front
-rockford 501x amp running the componets
-jl audio 12w7
-rockford 1000bd running sub

i took it to one local competition at crutchfield and won 1st in the single sub class at 140.5 db with the factory civic alternator and small civic battery. i hope to upgrade the alt. and add a capacitor soon to my setup. jl subs are the way to go!!

There is something very wrong if you only hit a 140 with a w7.

why what do you think i should be hitting?(remember i have the small *** battery with very low cold crank power)

The W7 with 1000 watts to it should be in the 143-146 range...I had one L7 on a JL 500/1 hit 141.4db. You should crush that
