Default Believe it or not!!!

Living by the ocean I deal with alot of salt air and RUST!!!...and of course the honda spot...(rear wheel well rust)..and of course my 1993 cx hatch is white so I have little rust spots nothing crazy just annoying. So I was cleaning my car and A bird told me to use house hold cleaner Soft Scrub...I used it with some warm water and a soft sponge, and unbeleiavble to my eyes I saw the little spots dissapearing and mold and bugs and tar...there is nothing that this stuff cant handle. Now it is very cheap, like 6.95 at local stores, and a sponge is a a dollar...So for all you under ten dollar fixers I am telling you this is it....I drove from california to NJ and if you ever did that before you know how many bugs there can be...my bumper was covered...now....Nothing...If I go on anymore I will sound like a infomercial......So just letting you guys know.....

I am going to have to try that. My white crx has the same problem. Did it do anything to the paint?

no it didnt after I was done I just washed it with soap and warm water and thats it, the paint came out fine. Just make sure you use a sensitive sponge or you will have issues...Also I used just the soft scrub no water in some spots, so it takes a little more elbow grease but it works fine, if it is too much then just add more water. Good Luck!!!

I'm skeptical of the use of Soft Scrub on any clear coat.

well i will tell you this, i have a original paint job on my 93 cx hatch which has a clear coat, it has been open to rain and snow and saltair....i am very pleased with the results if you are not comfortable with it don't do it but if you have those spots I am telling you it works! Grab a bottle and see what is in the soft scrub i know bleach is and make sure it wont do anything to your clear coat, if it is ok then go for it I will do more research on it and let you know.

well here is the deal SOFT SCRUB does nothing to- your clearcoat, but I can't speak for everyone, so if you do it and it messes it up I WILL NOT be resposible so use at your own risk, so I will keep doing it and enjoying my 9$ moakeover kit....
