or should I at least step up to 89?

the f22 sohc accord motors are designed to run on 87, if you go any higher you are just wasting your money, now if you are running forced induction then i would recommend 93.

right on, just use the gas your car is design to run on, higher octane would do a crap unless your motor got tons of carbon build up.

higher octane burns slower and required higher spark to start it off, if the fuel is not burn compeletly, it would leave a carbon deposite behind.

some extra case with carbon buildup-pre-ign, detonation, two flame fronts
