Default FINALLY It's DONE! (LOTS OF PICS) !But haven't started it :(!

(shot of front of car)

(shot of engine bay)

(shot of turbo and piping and oil feed line)

(side shot of everything)

(gauge pod and gauges)

(other side of pod and gauges)

(oil line "T" in the back of the block) (sender and feed line)

(right side of car and IC piping)

(VAFC temporary placement)

(again)

(Charge pipe and BOV)

(complete shot of all of IC piping)

LOL yeah i should have hot tanked it But I may paint it black because of some financial reasons
Well here's the word on the car.

There are no pics of my oil return line going from the turbo to the oil pan because I didn't get done with that until REALLY late and matt had already left. (ill have some pics of that later in the week hopefully) Looks nice though but i need some thoughts on it. (cuz it's backwards lol) (but im gonna pour a cup of oil down it just to test to see if it flows well)

It's all finished EXCEPT i forgot to clean out the piping because there are metal scraps in there from the cutting and stuff Also I didn't add oil yet either.

If I would have done these two things I could have started it, but as everyone knows from before, the o2 housing is facing the block and i dont really want to melt it with 800 degree heat. I tried to go to Top Street in milwaukee to get a temporary downpipe made that goes to the road but they were friggin closed So i still haven't started it.

BUT this gives me a chance to order the STRAIGHT! o2 housing from cheapturbo.com for an internal wastegate, that way ill have plenty of room and can get a custom dowpipe made and it wont face the block. (like this one)
It's only $25 and it seems to work well, i've seen smoe pics from someone else. So i hope that answers ur question. If it doesn't let me know.

For the thank you's.

Friend Matt ... He's helped me, taken pics, hosted pics this WHOLE TIME for selling parts and everything. So he get s a huge

Paul Vang Sent me some AMAZING oil lines and fittings. He's a really nice guy and has helped me a lot with these things. Also has GREAT customer service as too! Get ur stuff from him!

Havok Racing Made me the kickass manifold in REALLY short notice! Thanks! It fit perfect!

My Brother .....bitching like usual

Friend Dan For taking and hosting some of my other pics of my turbo parts

DriveLine Debuque Iowa.....Got the BOV, IC, and oil pan welded for a such a cheap price u'd **** urself! Damn good guy too.

And everyone on this board I definately could NOT have done it without you guys. You guys are amazing! From all my dumb questions toooo good ones, you guys were always there with all the good answers. THANK YOU!

This is friggin awesome

haha, yea. You'll be working on your car a lot espcially with the first set up. But you'll learn a **** load and you'll be able to do 2nd and other set ups with EASE and everything. You're nearing the top of the hill right now. Just don't give up on it. You most probably will encounter problems and bullshit that you won't feel like putting up with but you'll get through it. Just remember we all go through the bullshit

The flange came off the charge pipe from the 1G DSM BOV. I just cut it out along with the BOV. It's welded on there so it's kind of a pain.

When you buy the BOV, make SURE it has the flang on it. The BOV will come off the flange with 2 bolts. And then you can have the flange welded on by itself.

I got mine off of DSMtrader.com for $55 for the BOV. But some people sell the flanges seperate for around 20-30 give or take.

OHHH why it's gray....The guy who welded it painted it for some reason.?

Any more ?'s lemme know.

i posted this before when you had this posted either here or another forum. but isn't that i/c too low? I have the same ic and i had to cut my re-bar just to make it clear sufficiently. I just want to make sure you dont' bend the i/c on your first speedbump or pothole or the like.

Ohh yeah, i replied to it. I was worried about that too, but i found that the lower bar is about just as low as the IC. Ill take some day-time pics when i get a chance of how low it is. It's not too bad though. OH! yeah My big jack clears it by a lot when i jack up the car from the front with still a bunch of room to go.

It also fits under the lower bumper piece as well. So it should be alright.

Thanks for letting me know though. Ill keep and eye out for that to make sure i dont run into any probs.
