D16Z6 Dyno results from NOPI Nationals
They cut it off early both runs. I have redline set at 7600 and told them to cut it at 7400.
This is a stock bottom end D16z6 in a 93 Civic Si with 142,000 miles.
my setup is Greddy kit at 8lbs with blitz silvia intercooler. greddy blue box and shogun power tuner set at -4% fuel from about 2500 rpm to redline. Blitz boost controller, Act clutch and lightened flywheel, bbk fuel pump, brospeed exhaust, jg throttle body with manifold ported to match.
this was my first dyno and i was only expecting 160-170hp so i was pleased with the results. especially the torque. I expect with real tuning of the shogun not just a guess of -4%, a run to 7400 and on a decently cool day i could easily break 200 at 8lbs on my little D16 in my little light hatch.

i'm not sure who won but i saw a turbo 00 SI hit 475hp even with his drags slick rubbing on his fenders and the motor stumbled 3 times.
also the record for 8cyl forced induction on that dyno was 1167hp by a 91 Mustang

we just got back, didn't stay for the awards so I don't know who won turbo 4. There were quite a few impressive cars.

I was thinking of putting in a high flow cat or tjust getting a test pipe made. think that would be a good upgrade next. also what kind of adjust can i do to try and keep the torque from falling of so quickly after peak. maybe a little retard on the ignition?

you didn't by any chance have a video camera did you? I really wish i had it on tape. I had no idea how loud that JDM blitz blowoff valve was till i heard it outside the car. I actually saw people jump.

Not to be rude but I thought your blowoff was kinda quite. I'm running a Turbo XS RFL and that bitch is LOUD!!! I DID however like the sound of yours, no camera though.
