I was just about to do an impulse buy on ebay....almost grabbed an autolock...you know, the ones you put on the brake? I think....

should i do it?

I ask because you'd want to put it on your clutch, if its manual.

Nothing is going to stop a thief if they really want your car, but layering your security will slow them down.

BTW, if you buy your Autolock off eBay, they won't honor the gurantee they have to pay your deductible. You need to have a reciept from a business.

 

i think they sell them at Kragens for a decent price

 

I use an auto lock and a detatchable steering wheel that I chain lock in the trunk

layer all the security you can get

i was cleaning gum off my gas/break pedels today and i was thinking about the autolock, if i were a theif i would not want to be down there trying to yank the damn thing off some1 (like the owner of the car) can come out and beat the **** outta you and you wouldnt even see it coming

 

damm..now thats security. What if you lose the key that opens the trunks??
