polyurathane bushing install
im goin to be installing my hyperflex polyurathane bushings when i redo my suspension in the next week, and i was wondering if the new bushings have to be pressed in. i know the old ones have to be pressed out but i didnt know if the new ones just slide in or if they have to be pressed in. also, other then the rear lower control arm bolts (ive already replaced those), are there any other bolts i should be carefull with, that i might want to go get new ones just in case i do break them? and in gerneral is there anything else i should look out for while doing this? im confident in myself to do it, i just want to see what kind of problems i might run into. thanks.

I dunno about your bolt question and what to look for. But I can say that the old can be pressed out and new can be put in with a Rubber Mallet. Also bumb cause I wanna know too on the other questions. Will be doing this install in the next month or so.
the rear lca bolts are the only one's you really have to worry about. just make sure you coat all the bolts with anti-seize before you reassemble them. Get an alignment when you're finished, and i've heard (somewhere on this board) you shouldn't torque down the lca bolts until you have the car loaded (i.e. drive the car up on ramps, then torque the lca bolts).
enjoy.
enjoy.
search.
not trying to be an *** ... so dont think that.
I say this because there are many threads on how to install these. I know because not only did I install them, but I also showed ways to get the old ones out, and new ones in.

No, they will make them worse in a few moths. Just lube up the bushings you have now.

my kit just got here. I got the graphite impregnated ones, so hopefully that will help out w/ the noise issue.
I did some searches and in one post someone said you should sand the surface of the bushings? They said it would help reduce squeeking because something about getting the top layer off so the bushings could self lubricate? Sounded sorta strange, but what do I know? Anyone have any idea?

Yes most of them need to be pressed in. You can it with a vice or a heavy friend.
Ive been running the full ES Hyperflex bushing kit on the entire suspension and motor mount inserts for 2 years. 400F/400R lbs springs. Nothing squeaks. I never sanded no stinkin' bushings. Make sure you use the lube the give you.
