"Maint Required" Light on...what is it?
I'm guessing its reminding me to change my oil? my mileage is roughly 6,500..but i've changed the oil recently already...
If you didn't by the dealership the light will come on. Same thing happened to me. Acura sets it so you know to come in for an oil change. There is a little blue button on the left under the steering column, hold it in for like 30sec. then restart your car, the light should go off.
I think that's the standard Dealer service interval... Press and hold the Reset button under the dash for 8 seconds.. It should go away. Anybody else, feel free to correct me.
It's not for oil changes, it's for the scheduled maintenance periods. There's one early, another at 7500 i think, another at 15,000, 22,000 and mine is coming on again for probably 30,000.
hmm wtf.. my car has 7099 miles i have changed oil twice so far.. my ligth has not come on yet? should i have the dealer check it out? i'm taking it for service on wed so they can change the clicking clutch pedal spring, a problem that many r owner have encountered.

It is the dealer service interval of 7500 mi. It will blink for 2 seconds everytime you start the car after 6K, then be solid after 7500. I think it goes by actual mileage from the time it was reset, so it could come on any time.
You don't need to hold it for 8 seconds. Just turn to aux, press and hold for a few seconds and it should go out.
