type S onwers question for all????????
i'm curious about the type S... i got mines like 1 a month ago..so i'm new with this 6 speed, and i'm also scare about shifting 6 while i'm driving. has anyone here mishifted 6 and got the car on Reverse.. i'm not sure its the tranny is open for it to go into reverse while your driving around 60 mph...or what
PS: what u guys think about the Dc sport headers for the type S.. do they give any power to the card or not???

no reason to shift hard into six anyway....a nice smooth shift will do....don't expect to redline 5th then shift hard into 6th like any other gear....and for starters you won't be going that much faster once in 6th from being in 5th...just perhaps get slightly better gas mileage
Yeah, theres absolutely no way of going into reverse while moving in a forward direction. The gears are pretty close together so when first starting out, baby it. Don't try and quickshift right away,, tons of people have misshifted other gears so be careful. Good luck.
thanx guy i tested it tonight and its pretty nice.. i wasn't sure since the 6th and reverse are so close that i thought that i was going to put it on reverse since their so close

To answer your question about the DC sports header, from what i've read a lot of people have had problems with them cracking and breaking. Better bet would prolly be the Jackson Racing Race header.
Like everyone says, you can not go into reverse while in motion.
As for the DC header there have been many problems with this header. Ther ceramic header tends to break and crack near the collector, and gains from this header have been very poor.
On many dynos it has shown that the DC header shows a 1hp lose and a .05 gain of torque. Not worth it IMO. Just save your money and get a well crafted header which has show real power gains. If you want more information on the headers available go to http://www.clubrsx.com. There are many dynos of many different headers available.
