Default Type R Transmission Problems!!!!!!Help!!!!!

I just swapped a 2000 Type R motor into my 93 Civic H/B and my tranny wont shift into 3rd or 5th gear. It will shift into 3rd only if i Shift into 4th first and then downshift into 3rd. And 5th gear it wont even go into. Has anyone else had this problem or maybe know whats the deal? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If that tranny has bad synchros then the previous owner of that motor probably beat the hell out of it. You should do a compression and leak down check. From what your describing it does sound like some bashed up synchros.
