Default Switched to civic radiator = Overheating now???

Currently I'm using the full size integra fluidyne radiator with a civic FAL fan. Well I switched to the fluidyne civic radiator so I could use the backdoor style IC when I switch to the full race manifold. After changing the radiator only, I let the car warm up and go for a ride to check everything. Before I get to the end of the street the temp gauge is half way. I turn around and go back home and the temp gauge is over the half way point and still going to the H. Turn the car off and let it cool down and check all fluids, All full. Is there anything special that needs to be done to run a civic radiator in a integra? Thanks

That doesn't sound right. Did you flush the system? Air pockets?
