sorry guys.. The reputation of sXXon has recently just gone down the drain. I was initially a big believer in the company but recently have had nothing but bad run ins. This is by no means a post to bring em down, just a post to vent!

It all started when I began my 1st round of mods.. After buying over 4 k in gear and doing research, the products failed to produce. Not phased I persisted and finally managed minimal gains.. 2nd round after the engine blew, spoon let me down again. A valve physically snapped and dropped into the cylinder. I have x-rays to prove this. Contacted spoon but as usual, no reply..

Well now it turns out that I need a brand new engine. Low and behold my stupid self chooses to buy through a mate ... guess what a spoon engine. This product I do have slight faith in as it is intended as only a daily driver engine. Now I ordered the engine through their dealer 4 weeks ago. Basically spoon has been stuffing me round for 4 weeks saying they had already buil the engine and it has been shipped. TONIGHT I get the word that they just finished the engine on friday and am now sending it on monday. So much for honourable... BASTARDS...

This has basically put me out of pocket a crap load as I have been renting a car, also their business dealing are below honest! Now this is ONLY spoon japan. THE U.S. dealers are great so cliff notes...

Now to re-cap, I have been hounding the shipping company and my poor mate beyond beleif all beacuse of the dishonesty of the company and almost pursued legal actions against the in appropriate and innocent parties...

PLEASE stick to U.S. dealers and Australian dealers, do not go through japan connections..

sorry, heheh amazing how we all have diff ways of seeing things.. so thats why I'm open minded to alot of views...

 

It might be just from my own bad luck and the people i know, but it seems that everyone out their has had a negative experience when dealing with aftermarket supplier. Most of these companies think that most of their customer's wont complain or do anything if they are treated poorly.

Somebody should set up a poll to find out how many people have had bad experiences with aftermarket companies.

So to my understanding, you were dealing with Spoon Japan directly instead of going thru the N. American authorized dealers like AJ, IPS and R&D, etc.?
