Legend caliper upgrade for 94-97, does anyone have this setup?
I'm looking at doing this swap, but couldnt find all the info I want. I plan to use the 94-95 gs calipers with 94-97 accord wagon rotors, but the only thing is, that I've seen some mentions about a 28t/25t/23t bracket. What in the world is that? I was thinking that the calipers would just bolt up. I know that those brackets have to deal with the thickness of the rotor, and I guess the wagon rotors are 25mm. If anyone can shed some light on this, I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks.
Plus I'd like to be able to stop sometime soon......

that post will pretty much explain everything you need to know, if you scroll down they also discuss what brackets are needed for what rotors.

I have already done this swap and I posted a thread in here about it - https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=609124
If you are getting the AV6 front rotors, you will need either a 28T bracket (which comes from the Legend calipers) or a 25T bracket (comes from the AV6 calipers).
Everything else is simple bolt-on.

make sure you get an adjustable proportioning valve, otherwise you're rear brakes won't grab the road very much after the swap, and thus decreasing, not increasing your stopping performance, especially in emergency braking. (Yes, the front wheels do the majority, but the rear wheels don't just lift off the road, they play a great part of the braking as well, and if you have out of balance brakes then the rear will never lock or even come close to a perfect braking event, and hence hendering your braking performance).
The valve is $50 from summit I believe

Well, I just did the disc conversion in the rear and ordered the proportioning valve today. Will the valve solve all the problems? or do I need to use the master cylinder from an Ex or wagon/v6 accord? Im guessing the proportioning valve takes care of the difference of my brake power booster. I just want to get everything clarified.
On the front, Ive got some Brembo accord wagon rotors on the way, 95 Gs legend calipers, ebc redstuff pads. I'll be putting that in next week.
thanks

im guessing it should be cool, since the master cylinders have almost no difference. I'm just wondering if anyone has installed a proportioning valve, and how they did the install. Any info would help greatly...
