so i finally bought an amp for my components and it clips....

Default so i finally bought an amp for my components and it clips....

i blew up my old amp i was running....a pyle POS. now i got a kicker because i couldn't find a jl 300/4... i got the 600.4 when nice clean bass comes the amp turns off?/ why is that i put the setting on hi which is for components? i have mb quart Ref series all around? and its installed correctly why is it clipping?

Turn the gain down first an see if that helps. To much gain will make a amp clip asap. If not that check to see if everything is wired up right. Other than that check to see if it is overheating. Could be a number of things.
