H22 into a Ek, Shifter Questions
does the shifter assembly fit right in place, or do i have to cut some of the metal around the orginal one to make it fit, also is there any other kind of fabrication done to complete this swap
You will need to cut a 2x3 hole since the H22A uses cable shifters instead of the B and D series rod shifters.
Reasoning to cut the 2x3 hole is to feed the cables inside the cabin.
Here is a picture of the shifter assembly in my EG:

No its not, although its the same principal. You just do the exact same thing. Dont worry your shifter console will fit back over it all, so you couldnt even tell that you cut a hole in the floor on your car.
