Default CRV or LS??

I have two options either the CRV or LS motor. I was wondering wich one would run faster in my coupe and wich one is going to run faster stock. Also I'm planning on putting a vtec head next summer so I want to know wich one is going to make more power with vtec

crv will make more power, after you get past the wiring converstion which is minor.

But you realize adding a vtec head, will require a lot more than just slapping the head on and tightening the bolts....

With crv you're going to need to match the vtec head to at least 84mm, which means you'll have to get new sleeves....LS might be the way you want to go.....all depends on how much skrill you wanna drop....

Well for right now i want to keep it stock (no vtec head) but next summer I want to build my motor a bit but thats somthing I did not that you have to resleeve to put a vtec head on a crv. What else do you have to do except the oil line I already know that

Thanks

well u don't have to resleeve the head, but if you don't you risk the pistons tearing the head gasket apart with the different bore sizes (81mm vs 84mm).

Other than that, everything else is the same as ls/vtec swap.

Plans for a turbo depend on your budget. I suggest doing a search to find out which would fit your needs.

I havent really looked into crvtec too much, ls/vtec is my thing, but again it all depends on how they're built....like any other motor....

$1000 more... WHAT R U TALKING ABOUT??? I have a stock B20 in my 2000 Coupe. If you're going stock (Non-vtec) go with the b20, but only if you can get one for a good price ($800 and less) I ran a 15.6 at the track with chrome 17's and full interior, full tank of gas and a bunch of **** in my trunk. However, now with chip and CAI, I am beating cars that are verified 14.8. 14.9 1/4mile cars...
