What would you do?
If you have $4,000 to play with would you keep a stock internal motor and run a votech supercharger with after cooler or would you completly build a b20 vtec set up in a 2001 integra gsr????

Do your homework first I dont think for the money the power a vortech makes is worth it, a turbo on the other hand sounds good ....check a jackson supercharger before you buy a vortech you can run more boost with one

I've installed and ran the Vortech Supercharger in a GSR. It's fun, but very painful when it comes to maintainence. If U run AC, be careful where the air filter is placed..it ruptured one of the AC lines. Also, the Aftercooler install is nasty. If you have the 2001 GSR, there is an air canister u have to relocate according to the instructions...Problem is the install was done on an earlier model and the canister is a lot smaller than the one you have. Just some things to think about. Didn't mean to rain on your parade. Turbo seems more upgradeable and easier to work on your car after install. Good luck!
Thanks for all of your input...no votes for a built all motor setup? if anyone has a built b20 or b18 let me know some of your times/dyno numbers thanks
Vortech can put out good numbers but only in the top part of the powerband(i am talking the last 1k rpms)...if you want SC then go Jackson...what are your wants and plans for this car? Tell us that and we can probably give you a better answer then, Turbo or SC with out giving you reasons why it will work good with you...

the greddy turbo system is good for the 98+ integras. One of my good friends had one on her 98 gsr, and it ran a 13.3 on street tires @ 6000 feet
It was running great for going on 3 years, upped the boost for the last year, then she sold it for a silverado
