Sure, you can turbo any b-series motor, with a good tune.

LOL, it depends on what turbo he's using. And pretty much what the OP's motor and turbo setup consist of.

TUNING IS EVERYTHING! go with a smaller turbine mostly because of this...a small turbo =better gas mileage, less boost lag, more boost on stock internals, and since the b20 is not the highest revving b-series engine so with a small turbo t3/t4 you can build full boost at around 3700rpm and redline at 7000rpm or whatever the redline maybe so the quicker you build boost the better since they have low redlines...and if you put a T88 on your b20 yes 2 lbs of boost will be sufficent but GAs mileage will go POOF* you will never build any boost till 8000rpm especially with a 4cyl and it will have an ungodly amount of boost LAG so BIGGER is not always better and remember TUNING IS everything! just my two cents!

well if your read the original post, its a bone stock b20...doesnt matter what turbo kit thats why they make boost controllers...and besides he can run on wastegate alone which with a basic turbo kit, its around 8lbs

Yes, just don't go past about 275whp

That is correct. Are you telling me that 8psi on a T3 will yield the same results as 8psi on a GT42? PSI means nothing.

I wouldnt go past 300whp any detotation at power levels over 300hp will crack the sleeve easily especially since the sleeves on a B20 are weaker than other b-series motors...in other words find a tuner that really knows his **** or your going to be in a jam with a f***ked up motor.

X2.

WHP is a much better way to limit power than lbs of boost. there are too many variables to predict exactly how much power a motor will make at any give boost level because all motors are different and all turbos are different.

shoot for 250-275whp and you should be fine.

Yes, but you can always change the wastegate spring.

Hate how such words gets repeated numerous times and when followed, they don't know why they tend to have problems.

PSI is irrelevant, means nothing, that's all I'm going to say at this point.
